Mr. Marat Bakpayev

Marat Bakpayev

Mr. Bakpayev has served as Inditex
Brands Manager for Retail Group Kazakhstan, where he was responsible for
the country business development of
Zara, Massimo Dutti, Pull&Bear, Bershka, and Stradivarius. As Branch Director
of Nergy Retail, Mr. Bakpayev oversaw
the opening of Celio and Sinequanone
stores in Kazakhstan. At Leo Burnett,
an international advertising agency, Mr.
Bakpayev managed marketing in Kazakhstan for a variety of brands, including Tide, Myth, Always,
Tampax, Discreet, W&G, Camay, Secret, Max Factor, Red Bull,
Kazcom, the Mukhtar Auezov Foundation and the AIDS Foundation East-West. Mr. Bakpayev is currently pursuing a Ph.D
at the NEOMA Business School in France, and holds an MBA
from Washington University in Saint Louis, in the United States.
