The tuition and fees for the 2021-2022 academic year are as follows:

English Foundation course – 372 010 KZT (per level)
One 2 credits course – 177 980 KZT
One 3 credits course – 266 970 KZT
Student fee – 5 110 KZT
Annual medical checkup – 3 570 KZT
Library fee – 40 480 KZT

On average, a student takes 10 to 13 courses per year. The maximum possible number of courses to study during one academic year (including the summer semester) is 17.

The payment is made through any branch of “Halykbank” or “Bank CenterCredit”. In order to make a payment you need your state ID card, student’s last and first name, and his/her KIMEP ID number. Please indicate ‘Study’ as the purpose of your payment.
It could take from 2 to 5 days until your payment will be deposited on your student personal account.

The payment needs to be done before the start of the registration period. The defined sum should be put into the personal account of the student (ID: 2021xxxx) each semester.
The payment can be made either 1/3 of the total amount or for one semester or for an academic year. The leftover money is transferred for the next semester/academic year.
Also, the payment can be done for the entire period of study (4 years). For this option, the tuition fee is fixed and should be calculated based on the prices for the 2021-2022 academic year.

You have to deposit 40 480 KZT in the student’s personal account to use the textbooks. After graduating from the KIMEP University, the deposit is subject to reimbursement. (Keep the payment receipts!)

In case you have any difficulty with the registration process, please refer to the Student Learning Support Center.

The first week of the regular (Fall/Spring) semester is designated as the add-drop period.

Week 2 – 80% Refund
Week 3 – 60% Refund
Week 4 – 40% Refund
