From April 30 to May 12, 2026, the KIMEP Executive MBA students got registered for an international module of KIMEP EMBA program and flew to study at the EADA Business School in Barcelona, Spain.
EADA is one of Europe’s leading institutions in executive education, ranked 22nd globally for the Open Management Programs, stated by the Financial Times Executive Education 2026 Rankings. The school is also consistently recognized among the world’s top 50 providers of Custom Executive Education.
This international module is a result of a strong cooperation and friendship between two big business schools: the Bang College of Business of KIMEP and the EADA Business School.
The outside module brought together the KIMEP EMBA students from Almaty and Astana, and was led by the Director of the Executive Education Center, Bakytgul Tundikbayeva.
The group represented a diverse mix of senior corporate executives, entrepreneurs, and leaders from the government and quasi-governmental organizations, creating a very dynamic environment for knowledge exchange, professional networking, and collaborative learning.
The 30-hour international module, titled “Managing Strategic Innovation for Impact,” focused on key topics shaping today’s business landscape, including innovation management, leadership, strategic transformation, and the application of artificial intelligence in these processes.
Throughout the intensive program, KIMEP’s EMBA students actively engaged in interactive workshops, business simulations, strategic case analyses, and team presentations designed to strengthen executive leadership and decision-making capabilities.
The module was delivered by the distinguished EADA faculty members, including Prof. Joan Albert Garcia Moga and Prof. Pablo Franzolini, and professionally led by the EADA team under the leadership of Dean J.D. Martin, who personally welcomed the first executive students from Kazakhstan.
Our executive students explored contemporary themes such as innovation in BANI environments, AI-enabled transformation, ecosystem strategy, value innovation, creativity, and sustainable competitive advantage. As a real case study, our students took exclusive and extended site visits to the Port of Barcelona and the Hewlett Packard Espanola (HP) site.
Every KIMEP’s International Module reflects the University’s commitment to delivering globally oriented executive education and equipping current and future business leaders with the skills, perspectives, and international exposure needed to thrive in an increasingly complex and rapidly evolving global economy.
Through initiatives such as this, KIMEP continues to foster innovation, strategic thinking, and cross-cultural collaboration among its Executive MBA master students.
