On February 27–28, KIMEP University hosted the KIMEP AI Conference, which included the AI Challenge, a competition for high school student projects in artificial intelligence and technology.
Over the two days, the conference welcomed:
- 346 school students
- 21 parents or accompanying guests
- 30 representatives of schools
More than 44 projects were submitted to the AI Challenge, and 38 projects were selected to present their work to the jury during the competition.
Initially, the competition was planned across four categories. However, due to the smaller number of submissions in “IoT and Robotics” and “Cybersecurity and Networks,” these categories were merged into one.
Following the jury’s evaluation, 9 winning projects were selected.
