LG public lecture “Brand Communication Tools” was held for KIMEP students

KIMEP University hosted an open lecture on “Brand Communication Tools”. Natalya Novikova, Corporate Marketing Director of LG Electronics Almaty Kazakhstan, gave a speech at the event, organized as part of the LG EdTech educational project and attended by more than 60 students.

The LG EdTech volunteer project is based on using the opportunities to introduce university students to the realities of their chosen field as early as possible, and to inspire them to continue their studies.

As an expert with more than 20 years of practical experience in marketing and advertising, Natalia told about trends in the industry, modern marketing tools, and the latest instruments of PR-communication – such as Phygital, CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Corporate Governance), with examples of LG projects implemented both in Kazakhstan and globally.

The audience of the master class had a unique opportunity to look through the eyes of a PR expert at the interaction of the client with the company, product or service. Students learned about the tools that help effectively communicate key brand messages to the target audience – such as nature and environment care, an effective home ecosystem for health.

“The lecture was focused on the practical application of PR to form a positive image of the company and the use of various channels to disseminate this information to the widest audience. I hope our event inspired students to become great professionals in the future,” said Natalya Novikova, Director of Corporate Marketing at LG Electronics Almaty Kazakhstan.

As part of the practical challenge, each student could try to create a powerful slogan, the winner won an innovative gadget – a wearable mask with the LG PuriCare air purifier function. LG PuriCare™ has two HEPA (High Efficiency Particulate Air) filters that trap 99.9% of bacteria, viruses and other harmful particles size from 0.1 microns.

The company also prepared videos for the lecture about media hosts working process. Students could see how news is made on television and what skills a professional radio presenter should have.
