1-2 February 2024, KIMEP University

We invite proposals for interactive presentations and workshops to be presented at the 1st Central Asia Higher

Education Conference.

The conference aims to provide a platform for knowledge exchange, practical learning, and collaboration among leaders in higher education, with the goal of advancing pedagogical leadership, enhancing student learning, and promoting ethical engagement. Participants will engage in interactive workshops and discussions led by experienced educators and field experts, gaining practical tools and strategies to improve teaching and learning while promoting academic integrity and ethical leadership.

Call for Papers

The theme of the first event is “Pedagogical Leadership in Higher Education Conference”. The conference seeks to provide valuable insights, evidence-based research, and practical approaches related to pedagogical leadership in higher education. To this end, applicants are required to select one of the two following formats for their contribution: Interactive presentation or Interactive workshop.

Contributions should include a 15-20 minute input followed by 25-30 minute of structured dialogue with the participants. A session chair will facilitate the discussion; presenters are invited to prepare guiding questions.
  • Interactive workshops (60-90 minutes):as a workshop facilitator, you seek to actively engage the participants to work together with your ideas and learn from each other’s experiences. Workshops will last 60 to 90 minutes and may include short inputs, but they are designed as interactive moments and activities in which the participants can collaborate even co-create, e.g., developing policies or lesson plans.
