The Concert Orchestra of Almaty Akim under the direction of Murat Serkebaev, the People's Artist of the Republic of Kazakhstan, is actively engaged in charitable and educational activities.
For the 30th anniversary of KIMEP University, the Orchestra has prepared a concert program and will perform on November 15 at 15.00 for KIMEP students and teachers at the Great Hall.
The concert soloists:
Jamilya Baspakova – Coloratura Soprano, Honoured Artist of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Honoured Artist of the Republic of Uzbekistan, leading soloist of the State Academic Opera and Ballet Theater named after Abay.
Jamilya Serkebayeva – Violonist, Honoured Artist of the Republic of Kazakhstan, laureate of international festival in Monte Carlo soloists with the “First violin” Diploma.
At the concert you will hear works by Kazakh, Soviet and foreign composers. The duration of the concert is 1 hour 20 minutes.
