On September 20, 2025, the Executive Education Center (EEC) of KIMEP University proudly welcomed a new Executive MBA cohort in Almaty, marking the start of an inspiring academic journey for a new generation of business leaders.

The opening ceremony set a tone of excellence and collaboration.
🎓 Dr. Damian Riviez, Vice President of Academic Affairs, officially opened the event with a warm welcome, emphasizing the University’s commitment to nurturing visionary leaders who combine academic knowledge with ethical leadership.
🎓 Dr. Nejat Capar, Dean of the Bang College of Business, presented an overview of the EMBA program, highlighting its strategic focus on global business leadership, decision-making in complex environments, and the practical application of modern management tools.

The new EMBA participants—experienced managers, entrepreneurs, and executives—introduced themselves, shared their professional journeys, and discussed their motivations for pursuing advanced business education. It was an engaging moment that showcased the diversity and ambition of this year’s cohort.
To foster teamwork from the very beginning, the group took part in an energetic business simulation game led by Dr. Maganat Shegebayev, Adjunct Professor at BCB. The activity encouraged collaboration, strategic thinking, and creative problem-solving—skills that form the cornerstone of the EMBA experience.

The event was smoothly moderated by Mrs. Bakytgul Tundikbayeva, Director of the Executive Education Center, who welcomed participants into KIMEP’s growing community of executives, entrepreneurs, and thought leaders.
