On October 31, 2025, KIMEP University hosted IT and Natural Science Discovery Day, an Open House event organized by the School of Computer Science and Mathematics. The event was designed for high school students interested in IT, mathematics, engineering, and natural sciences, offering a first-hand look at modern STEM education at KIMEP.
The program featured:
- a welcome speech and an overview of the faculty’s academic programs;
- an AI workshop on building an image-classification model;
- an IoT and Robotics demonstration;
- an interactive cybersecurity session;
- a hands-on lesson on patterns and logic;
- a physics workshop titled “Experiments in Motion”;
- a creative data visualization session;
- a Q&A with current BSCS/BISB students followed by a campus tour;
- an engaging STEM Kahoot quiz with prizes.
Participants had the chance to meet faculty members, explore the campus environment, and discover the benefits of studying computer science and mathematics at KIMEP. The event inspired future applicants and highlighted the faculty’s commitment to interdisciplinary and innovative STEM education.
