Following the visit to WITS City, Chairman Fang Guoxiong and Vice Chairman Zhang Jinying hosted Dr. Chan Young Bang and the delegation at Humen Foreign Language School in Dongguan, of which they are the proprietors. Founded in September 2004, Humen Foreign Language School is a full-time boarding institution with an enrollment of approximately 8,000 students and a strong emphasis on international education and language training.

 

Upon arrival, Dr. Bang and the delegation were warmly welcomed by the school community and treated to a series of high-quality musical performances by students, including wind orchestra and string ensemble pieces. These performances highlighted the students’ musical ability, discipline, and artistic talent.

 

The visit continued with a comprehensive tour of the school’s facilities, including classrooms dedicated to art, music, robotics, and foreign languages. Students presented demonstrations of classroom activities and explained the school’s educational approach, while also introducing the history of the institution, its founding vision, and notable alumni. The visit concluded with informal exchanges, including a friendly table tennis match, followed by lunch discussions focusing on potential partnerships, future cooperation, and the possibility of a reciprocal visit by a Humen Foreign Language School delegation to Almaty.
