On January 13, 2026, Dr. Chan Young Bang and the delegation visited Shenzhen–Hong Kong Pui Kiu College Longhua Xinyi School (PKXYS). The visit was hosted by Mr. Lee Shing Kan, Director; Mr. Wong Tang Tat (Tommy), Principal of PKXYS; and Ms. Chen Shangqi (Chloe), Head of the Communications Department.

Founded in 2021, PKXYS integrates Chinese and Western educational practices and serves as a bridge between the education systems of Hong Kong and Shenzhen. During the visit, the host committee provided an extensive tour of the school’s modern facilities, including its auditoriums and sports infrastructure, notably a FIFA-certified football pitch.

Discussions focused on potential avenues for academic cooperation and institutional partnership. Mr. Lee also introduced the business activities of Xinyi Group, a global glass manufacturer serving the automotive industry, with international operations including in Central Asia and Kazakhstan. Mr. Jeffer Law and Mr. Frankie Zhao shared insights from their recent visit to Kazakhstan and discussed related business interests.

The visit concluded with an invitation for PKXYS representatives to visit KIMEP University in the future, with discussions continuing over dinner.
