Financial Conditions
The scholarship will be granted to participants and allocated for the following:
- Waiver for tuition fee at a host University.
- Allowance for return travel costs (up to €2,000, depends on a distance to the host university).
- Monthly subsistence allowance (€1,000 – undergraduates and Masters, 1,500 – Doctorates, €1,800 – Post-Doctorates, €2,500 – academic staff) for housing, food, and other personal expenses.
- Insurance cost (€75 per month).
- The program covers the cost of visa.
- Participants are advised to have money to cover all expenses during the first month of living abroad until they get the first stipend. Due to different regulations at the host universities, monthly allowance may not be paid immediately.
Monthly allowance will be transferred to bank accounts of participants opened in a host country upon arrival. Medical insurance will be arranged by a host university upon arrival.
KIMEP students, participating in the Erasmus Mundus program are considered to be exchange students and should familiarize themselves with tuition fee payment regulations at KIMEP for exchange students. Please read the Course Transfer Procedure.
