International Student Events
During the semester, the International Office together with the KIMEP International Students Association organizes events for international students:
- Welcome Party – every semester, a few weeks after the start of classes
- International Students Day – mid November
- Spring Nauryz Festival – end March, beginning April
- Farewell Party – every semester, after the final exams
- Excursions in and around Almaty: few times per semester
KISA also organizes various cultural and social activities and trips for international and local students. Keep an eye on bulletin boards advertisements and Umail newgroup message about possibilities, for instance to travel to Charyn Canyon, Khodja Ahmed Assayi Mausoleum, Astana city, trout farm, ostritch and eagle farms, and many more.
