Types of Aid
KIMEP University Financial Aid can be need-based, merit-based or a combination of both. Students who wish to apply for financial aid must have a full-time status in each semester except Summer semesters. None of financial aid types covers withdrawn courses or retaken courses.
Students, who are eligible for more than one type of KIMEP University Financial Aid, would be qualified to the greatest type of Financial Aid. A student awarded external financial assistance can receive KIMEP University financial aid up to the remaining amount of tuition that the student has to pay in a particular semester/academic year.
The following conditions will automatically disqualify any student for any form of financial aid or support: Provisional Status, Academic Probation/Suspension, Academic Disqualification, and Falsification of Official Documents.
The Admission and Scholarship Committee reserves the right to modify the required level of academic standing for financial aid eligibility.
KIMEP University Financial Aid is a subject to the availability of funds and any financial constraints of the institution and may be withdrawn at any time.
