List of documents
IMPORTANT: Students who submit invalid or falsified information or who submit partial or incomplete information will be disqualified from receiving financial assistance. In addition, disciplinary, legal and/or administrative actions may be taken against those who have submitted misleading documentation.
In order to receive financial aid from KIMEP, it is necessary to submit the following documents.
- A filled and printed online application form for Financial Aid.

- Notarized copies or copies with original state IDs for parents/custodians/step-father/step-mother. For brothers/sisters – notarized copies or copies with originals of birth certificates.
- Notarized copy or copy with original state ID card or birth certificate for the student. For students who are citizens of other countries – notarized copy or copy with original of passport.
- Notarized copy or copy with original of a residence registration book.
- If you have siblings who are students of other universities, please submit documents from those universities confirming their enrollment;
- Documents from the Tax Committee (TC) on presence (absence) of registration of a person as an individual entrepreneur with indication of income for the recent 12 months in case of presence of such registration (to be updated every year). Documents should be submitted for the parents of KIMEP undergraduate and graduate program student and for siblings under 21 years old inclusively, except students of secondary schools, colleges and full-time undergraduate university students. In case if the TC is not able to provide a document for you, it is necessary to submit an official refusal of the TC, copies of TRN and of income declaration with a seal of TC (to be updated every year);
- Turnover balance sheet on transit accounts from the State Center of Pension payment (SCPP) for parents, undergraduate and graduate students, spouses of students and also for siblings under 22 years old inclusively, except students of secondary schools, colleges and full-time undergraduate university students (to be updated every year);
- Reference (information) on salary for the recent 12 months for working parents of KIMEP students and also for siblings under 21 years old inclusively, except students of secondary schools, colleges and full-time undergraduate university students (to be updated every year);
- If parents, siblings under 21 years old inclusively, except students of secondary schools, colleges and full-time undergraduate university students are unemployed, a document from the Center of Employment confirming their social status should be submitted. If the unemployed ones are not registered in the Center of Employment, it is necessary to submit a statement of a free form with submitting documents, confirming this fact (extract from the order of dismissal from the last place of work or a copy of labor record book);
- If there are disabled persons in the family, it is necessary to submit a conclusion of Medical labor Expert Commission (MLEC) for the current year (Reference lists from MLEC shall not be accepted);
- If parents/custodians are retired due to their age or due to disability, it is necessary to submit a copy of retirement certificate;
- Notarized copy or copy with original of certificate of divorce of parents
- Notarized copy or copy with original of death certificate of a parent (s)
- Certificate from civil Registry Office (form #4), that in the “Father’s name” line information is provided from mother’s words);
- Notarized copy or copy with original of a birth certificate for sibling-students studying at KIMEP simultaneously; notarized copy or copy with original of marriage certificate for married students of KIMEP;
- Documents confirming “child-orphan” status.
- Orphan students have to submit above mentioned documents for the family of custodian;
- In case of necessity the Financial Aid Department reserves a right top request additional documents
* It is not necessary to present documents for siblings who have reached the age of 22. It is necessary to submit documents for siblings of age under 21 year inclusively. All documents must be submitted as notarized copies. It is possible to submit the non-notarized copies of documents on the condition of simultaneous demonstration of the original documents to the Financial Aid Office staff. Documents, confirming the financial status, issued by organizations outside of Kazakhstan shall not be accepted. Any student who submits false information / documents to the Office of Student Financial Services may be refused financial aid and / or expelled from KIMEP.
