Professor Hoskins has nearly 20 years of investment management experience at leading firms on Wall Street. He taught at American University in Washington, DC, before coming to KIMEP in 2008. Professor Hoskins has a BA from University of California at Berkeley and a MBA from the Darden Business School at the University of Virginia. Having received his CFA Charter in 1988, Professor Hoskins has been a frequent grader of exams for the CFA Institute and was previously Governor of a CFA Society. In addition to teaching at KIMEP, Professor Hoskins has conducted investment seminars at the National Bank of Kazakhstan, Asyl Invest, and KBTU.

Holds PhD degree in Economics (Nagoya University, Japan, May,2011). Sholpan has 14 publications in national and foreign resources with an authored book “The Development of Rural Financial Sector in Kazakhstan: with special reference to Rural Credit Cooperation Development”, IDE (Japan), 2006 (in English). In the period from 1988 to 1996 Sholpan had experience of Economist at Joint-Stock Company “Irtysh” (Meat Processing Plant) in Pavlodar, Kazakhstan. The teaching areas of Sholpan are: Macroeconomics, Microeconomics, Operations Management, Organizational behavior, Fundamentals Management.

MBA, instructor and translator of Kazakh language at KIMEP and National Bank of Republic of Kazakhstan. Prior, she worked for Central Asian University; Junior Academy of Sciences of RK; Institute for Professional Development of teachers of Kazakh and advanced managers of educational institutions; Academy of Economics and Statistics. She is the author of manuals: “Self-learning of Kazakh”, “Learning Kazakh in Polylingual Environment”; and “Kazakh for Business / Economics”.

is Candidate of Science in Law, associate professor of Kazakhstan National Law University, Department of Labor, Environmental and Human Rights. She has more than 60 scientific / research publications and has been involved in the development of the labor regulations; protection of human rights, integration of international human rights and Kazakhstan Legislation. She delivers training and consulting on legal regulation of labor in the Republic of Kazakstan.

holds CMA (Certified Management Accountant); MBA (Master of Science in Accounting – Texas A&M University); BA, Kazakh State Academy of Management; and Kazakh University of International Relations and World Languages. He is a member of US Institute of Chartered Accountants; KIMEP senior lecturer. His area of training is: Financial Accounting for Managers, Intermediate Accounting, Cost Accounting, Advanced Cost Accounting, Accounting 1 and 2, etc. He combines teaching with consulting services for companies / banks.

engineer-mathematician, specialized in computer technologies and applied mathematics, applied economics, as well as financial analysis, combines teaching with real business developing and implementing computer programs to support business effectiveness. Within more than 20 years of work experience participated in automated, planning and management system development for state and private industries.Worked for the Institute of Automated Planning and Management Systems, Academy of Management, published works in applied mathematics and computerization problems.

is a leading auditor in TQM (QMS 2000) registered in the International Register of Certified Auditors (IRCA); expert-auditor of TQM in the Republic of Kazakhstan; member of Kazakhstan Academy of TQM; leading auditor on ISO 9001:2000; ISO 14001:2004; OHSAS 18001:1999; he cooperates with British Standards Institute (BSI) and “Moody International Certification”.

is a Certified International Public Accountant (CIPA); partner of the Audit Company; Member of the Audit and Accounting Chamber of the Republic of Kazakhstan and holds the diploma of the Institute of Professional Financial Managers, Great Britain. She combines real business and training / consulting delivery in the areas of finance and accounting as well as internal audit.

holds an International Executive Master of Business Administration, HEC School of Management, France (2006); has participated in an exchange program in Utwente University, Holland (2004) and earned American Management Association (АМА) Certificates. She combines project management and training / consulting delivery in the areas of management, marketing and sales as well as human resources management.

Certified auditor. Member of the Audit Chamber of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Member of the BIKO expert council. She cooperates with the Institute of Professional Accountants of RK. Work experience – more than 28 years. She makes audit of one of the Health Projects in Tadjikistan sponsored by the World Bank (from 1995 – till present time). Certificates of the World Bank, British Council and Institute of Certified Accountants of Scotland («ICAS»). Topics: «International Financial Reporting Standards», «Accounting and audit», etc.
