Transfer Between Programs
The current policy on transfer between programs was reconsidered during 62nd meeting of Academic Council on November 9, 2011
The first limitation was rewritten and now policy on transfer between programs looks like follows:
- Undergraduate students must complete one full semester and have passed at least one-credit bearing course
- Graduate students wishing to transfer from one program to another may do so without regard to the number of credits completed.
- The student must meet all admission and/or transfer requirements of the receiving program.
- Student has notified the parent college and has written permission of the dean of the receiving college.
This will still meet requirement of Ministry of Education to complete 1 semester before transferring to another program and will benefit those students wishing to transfer as fast as possible. Other procedures of transferring process remain the same.
