Step 3 – Take the entrance exams
Check your application status online or with your admission officer. Once your application has been received, you will be invited to sit the KIMEP entrance exams, held in Almaty and in other major cities around Kazakhstan. All applicants will need to take the KIMEP English Entrance Exam or submit valid official TOEFL / IELTS scores. Kazakhstani applicants for undergraduate programs will need to submit a valid Unified National Test / National Complex Test certificate showing that they have obtained the passing scores set by the Ministry of Education for the year in which they sat the test (the mathematics section is a ‘specialized’ subject for KIMEP). International applicants may submit results for SAT / ACT or an equivalent test, or sit the KIMEP Undergraduate Test for International Applicants at one of the entrance examination sessions organized by KIMEP.
