College Overview
The College of Social Sciences is home to four stimulating and dynamically developing departments that prepare students for leadership roles in many professional areas in both the public and private sectors including business and industry, government, education, politics, and international organizations.
Our college has about 1500 undergraduates and 120 graduate students. In the past year 140 bachelor and master students graduated from our programs. These students are served by around 60 faculty, many of whom are internationally recognized experts in their respective fields, and 15 staff.
The College faculty contains scholars from some of the most prestigious western universities as well as local academics. The faculty come from 15 different countries including the United States, Canada, Australia, Great Britain, Italy, and other European countries as well as Africa, Russia and Kazakhstan. Eighteen of the College’s 35 full-time faculty hold Ph.Ds from leading North American and European universities.
